The Challenge

Bloomerang faced common cloud-native challenges with tacit knowledge and outdated documentation. Engineers relied on tribal knowledge for infrastructure understanding, slowing onboarding and troubleshooting. Static diagrams couldn't keep pace with rapidly evolving infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud, hindering cross-team collaboration and cost governance.

The Solution

Flexsave for Compute allowed Bloomerang to optimize compute spend without sacrificing flexibility and without requiring additional effort from engineers.

As Bloomerang's cloud infrastructure matured, DoiT's team worked closely with stakeholders across platform engineering to implement FinOps workflows tailored to the organization's multi-cloud model. With Cloud Diagrams offering visualized cost overlays and DoiT Cloud Intelligence features like custom budget alerts and usage analytics, teams could track spend in context, seeing not only how much was being used but where, why, and by whom. DoiT helped establish governance processes around Anomaly Detection, idle resource cleanup, and cross-team accountability.
