Which Anthropic connection do I need?

Use Claude Platform for Claude Console API spend, Claude.ai for Claude Enterprise, and the Claude Usage Exporter extension for Claude Team. They are independent, so you can connect any combination.

What credentials and permissions are required?

You need the Billing Profiles Admin permission in Cloud Intelligence. Claude Console needs an Admin API key from an org admin; Claude Enterprise needs an Analytics API key with the read:analytics scope from the Primary Owner; Claude Team needs an Owner and an API key with DataHub Admin.

How much history is imported, and how fresh is it?

Claude Console imports the last 6 months, and Claude Enterprise up to 90 days, refreshed every 6 hours. The Claude Team extension backfills up to 90 days and exports one file per UTC day, hourly while Chrome is open.

Which dimensions and labels can I use?

Data maps to Provider, Billing Account, Project/Account ID, Service and SKU. GenAI labels add model, workspace, API key, service tier, cache, context window, product, token type and user.

Are there plan limitations?

Claude Enterprise cost and usage data is available only for usage-based Enterprise plans; seat-based plans see additional usage charges only. Claude Team needs extra usage enabled, otherwise there is no spend report to export.

How does Anthropic show next to my other providers?

Each connection appears under its own Provider value in Cloud Analytics. Claude data feeds the GenAI Intelligence dashboards alongside your other AI providers.
