What data can I send to DataHub?
Any cost, usage, savings or business-metric data, including SaaS costs, operational costs like rent, and business metrics. Use it for clouds and SaaS platforms without a native integration.
How do I send data?
Through the DataHub API as JSON or CSV, by uploading a CSV in the console, with the dci CLI, or through the MCP server. API CSV uploads accept up to 30MB, or a ZIP or GZ of one CSV; console uploads accept up to 100MB.
How fast does it show up?
After a successful ingest, data is available in the console within about 15 minutes. DataHub isn't built for real-time or high-frequency ingestion.
Which dimensions and metrics can I use?
Fixed dimensions that match standard Cloud Analytics fields, custom labels, project labels and system labels. Metrics are cost, usage and savings plus any custom metrics you define.
Which features work with DataHub data?
Reports, forecasting, budgets, alerts, allocations, cost splitting and custom dashboards. Anomaly detection, Insights and Commitment Manager don't apply to DataHub data.
