What do I need to connect Fastly?
Your Fastly customer ID and an API token. You enter both in the integrations catalog and test the connection before saving.
Which permissions does the token need?
At least the global:read scope, and it must be created by a Fastly user who can access billing. A token from a non-billing user fails the connection test with a 403 error.
How fresh is the data?
We refresh Fastly data daily, and it's typically available within 48 hours of Fastly generating it. Historical invoice data is imported when you first connect.
How is Fastly spend broken down?
Each line item maps to its product name as the service, its description as the SKU, and its region. System labels add product group, product line and usage type, such as Bandwidth or Requests.
Can I connect more than one Fastly account?
Yes. Each connected Fastly account appears as a separate billing account, keyed by its customer ID.
How does it show next to other providers?
Fastly appears as its own provider in Cloud Analytics, so you can report on it alongside your cloud and other SaaS spend with the same budgets and alerts.
