How does Cloud Intelligence™ connect to Azure?
You deploy our ARM template, then create a daily Cost Management export of actual costs to the storage account it creates. We test the connection with your subscription ID. One-click tenant onboarding is also available in preview.
How fresh is the data?
Azure updates Cost Management exports daily. Billing data is available less than four hours after Azure publishes it, and Cloud Analytics refreshes it every hour.
Can I allocate Azure costs without tags?
Yes. The runtime sensor reads traffic to assign shared AKS clusters, databases and network to the team, customer or feature that used them. Your resource tags are still ingested, and tag inheritance can carry subscription and resource group tags down to every charge.
Can I see historical and amortized costs?
Yes. We backfill historical Azure billing data on request. Add a FOCUS export next to your actual cost export to get amortized cost in reports.
Do you manage Azure commitments?
Commitment Manager tracks your MACC with daily updates, Marketplace contribution and a forecast of when you will reach it. Automated purchasing with PerfectScale for Commitments is not yet available for Azure.
Do I need to buy Azure through you?
No. You can connect Azure accounts you buy from anyone. Standalone accounts need an Enhanced or Enterprise plan.
