How do I connect DigitalOcean?
Generate an organization personal access token with the billing:read custom scope in your organization's API tab. Enter the organization UUID and token in the integrations catalog, test the connection and save.
Can I connect a single team?
No. Connect the organization once; every charge keeps the team that incurred it. Standalone-team connections are not supported because they would risk duplicating costs.
How much history do you import, and how fresh is it?
Initial loading targets the last 180 completed days, limited by DigitalOcean history, which starts on December 1, 2025. We check for updates every six hours and re-refresh the last 35 completed days, but DigitalOcean publishes its estimates nightly.
Which dimensions and labels can I use?
Charges map to Provider, Billing account, Team, SKU, Region and Date, with labels for cost basis, billing source, team, SKU, region, resource description and resource group. DigitalOcean projects and resource tags are not included in this release.
Why don't my totals match the invoice?
Billing Insights provides daily estimates derived from nightly invoice items, and the monthly sum can differ from the final invoice. We label this data as estimated cost; use your DigitalOcean invoice for final reconciliation.
Does DigitalOcean AI spend show up in GenAI Intelligence?
Yes, for verified AI billing SKUs, such as GLM5.3 Flash input and output. Ordinary GPU Droplets, storage, networking and unverified SKUs stay in regular DigitalOcean cost reports, and token counts are not available from this connection.
