Linear

Cost work, tracked in your Linear backlog.

Create Linear issues from cost anomalies and insights, prefilled with the details and a link back to the cause: the workload, customer and change behind a spike. CloudFlow can file them for you, with team, state, labels and priority already set.

Frequently asked
questions

What permissions do I need to connect Linear?

The Manage settings permission in the console, plus enough Linear permissions to authorize the app, such as workspace admin or a member who can manage integrations.

Who can create issues once it's connected?

Anyone with the Thread Manager permission. They don't need a Linear account to create threads from the console.

Which fields can I set?

Team, title and state, plus optional description, labels and priority. Available states and labels depend on the team you pick.

Can Linear issues be created automatically?

Yes. Trigger a CloudFlow on a new cost anomaly, filter by severity if you like, and add the Create a thread action with Linear selected.

What's included when an issue comes from an insight?

Insights with potential savings add the estimated monthly savings, calculated from daily savings times 30 in your configured currency.

How do I disconnect Linear?

Remove the DoiT integration from your Linear workspace. The console doesn't have a disconnect button for Linear.
