How do I connect Aiven?
Find Aiven in the integrations catalog, enter your organization ID and API token, and test the connection. Once it passes, link the account to finish.
What token does the connection need?
A token for an application user created at the organization level, granted the View billing (organization:billing:read) permission. Project-level tokens cannot see billing data, and the token must be able to read invoices.
How fresh is the data, and how much history do I get?
We refresh Aiven billing every six hours, and data is typically available within 48 hours. Up to 180 days of history is imported on first connection, in your Aiven invoice currency.
Which dimensions are available?
Charges map to Provider, Billing Account (organization), Project/Account ID (project), Service (product), SKU (plan), Resource ID (service name) and Region.
Are Aiven tags available as labels?
How are networking charges shown?
Private Service Connect endpoints, AWS PrivateLink endpoints and static IP addresses are grouped under a Networking service, with the SKU naming the product and the endpoint or IP as the Resource ID.
