questions
What does the Wiz integration do?
It brings the issues Wiz generates into Insights. When there is a security event in Wiz, we automatically generate a security insight that offers guidance on addressing it.
Does it import Wiz costs?
No. The Wiz integration brings in security issues, not billing data. You see those issues alongside your AWS, Google Cloud and Azure costs in one place.
What do I need to connect Wiz?
Your Wiz tenant ID and the client ID and secret of a Wiz service account. On our side, your account needs the Billing Profiles Admin permission.
Which permissions does the Wiz service account need?
Create it as a Custom Integration (GraphQL API) service account with the read:issues API scope. Copy the secret when it's created, because Wiz only shows it once.
Can I limit which Wiz projects are included?
Yes. When you create the service account, select the Wiz projects whose issues you want to pull, or leave Projects blank to include all of them.
Can I connect more than one Wiz account?
Yes. Repeat the connection steps for each Wiz account. If the connection test fails, open an expert inquiry and we'll help.
