questions
How do we connect ClickHouse Cloud?
Search for ClickHouse Cloud in the integrations catalog, select Connect, and enter your organization ID and API key. Test the connection, then save.
What credentials do we need?
Your organization ID (a UUID from Settings > Organization) and an API key with the Developer role, entered as key_id:key_secret. The key secret is only shown once, so copy it when you create the key.
How fresh is the data?
We refresh your ClickHouse Cloud data every 6 hours. Usage typically becomes available within 24 to 26 hours of ClickHouse generating it.
Do we get historical data?
Yes. We import your historical usage when you connect, which can take a few hours, and email you when it's ready in Cloud Analytics.
Which dimensions and labels are available?
Organization ID maps to billing account, service name to project, entity type (service or warehouse) to service, and usage type (compute or storage) to SKU. Resource, category, subcategory and resource ID labels are also available.
How does ClickHouse show up next to other providers?
ClickHouse Cloud appears as its own provider in Cloud Analytics, using the same standard dimensions as your other providers. You can group, filter and compare it in the same reports.
