Frequently asked
questions

What can I do with Microsoft 365 in Cloud Intelligence™?

Add new Microsoft 365 subscriptions, add or remove licenses on existing subscriptions, and assign each subscription to a billing profile.

Which payment plans are available?

New Microsoft 365 subscriptions use a Flexible plan billed monthly. The initial cost is prorated for the time remaining in the current billing period.

When do license changes show up on my invoice?

Costs for licenses added or removed in the middle of a month are reflected on your next invoice.

Why can't I remove licenses I bought last week?

Microsoft imposes a seven-day cancellation window on commerce license-based subscriptions. After that window closes, the console reports an error if you try to remove licenses.

Which permissions do I need?

The Assets Manager permission and access to the billing profile associated with the subscription's domain (tenant). Assigning billing profiles also needs Billing Profile Admin.

How do billing profiles work for Microsoft 365?

Each billing profile receives its own monthly invoices. Assign subscriptions to different profiles to bill products, environments or teams separately.
