How do I connect Elastic Cloud?
Find Elastic Cloud in the integrations catalog, enter your organization ID and API key, and test the connection. Once the test passes, save to finish.
What credentials and permissions are needed?
An organization-level Elastic Cloud API key with billing read access, plus your organization ID. On our side you need the Billing Profiles Admin permission.
How fresh is the data, and how much history do I get?
We refresh Elastic data daily, and it is typically available within 48 hours of Elastic generating it. Historical billing data is imported on first connection, which can take a few hours.
Which dimensions and labels are available?
Charges map to Provider, Billing Account, Project/Account ID, Service (product type) and SKU (line item). Elastic labels add Organization, Product, Search Spend and Observability Spend.
Can I separate search and observability costs?
Yes. The Search Spend and Observability Spend labels mark whether each cost relates to search or observability workloads, so you can filter, group or allocate by either.
How does Elastic show up next to my other providers?
Elastic Cloud appears as its own provider in Cloud Analytics, so you can report on it alongside your cloud and other connected spend, and use it in budgets and allocations.
