Wicked Reports, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a multi-touch marketing attribution platform that uses first-party data to give its customers more accurate information about their paid marketing activities in online advertising. It's designed to optimize paid online advertising spend and effectiveness and primarily used by e-commerce brands with revenue ranges of $5 million to $50 million. Their goal: Reduce wasted ad spend. "The number one reason customers choose us is accuracy," says Wicked Reports CEO and co-founder Scott Desgrosseilliers. "If our data isn't more accurate than what you get for free from the ad platforms or Google Analytics, there'd be no reason for us to exist."
Wicked Reports knew AI could shorten time to value for customers navigating multi-touch attribution complexity, but early experiments failed. AI models hallucinated, failed to track time progression, or forgot prior recommendations. Guardrails were hard to enforce, and there was no secure, production-grade data pipeline.
DoiT's Cloud Accelerators: GenAI program for AWS paired funding with a structured path from ideation to implementation. DoiT built a secure, serverless-first pipeline on AWS with API orchestration, event processing, and containerized workloads. The team redesigned how the agent reasoned about time and context, implementing guardrails that captured Wicked Reports' framework as explicit policy.
DoiT's Cloud Accelerator turned our AI idea into a shipped product, saving at least three months of development and delivering reliable, explainable insights our customers trust.
Scott Desgrosseilliers, CEO and co-founder, Wicked Reports
The engagement began under DoiT's Cloud Accelerators: GenAI program for AWS, which paired funding with a structured path from ideation to implementation. "The accelerator was critical," Desgrosseilliers says. "It allowed DoiT to put in the level of effort we needed." That combination of AWS funding plus DoiT's Cloud Accelerator's clear framework turned a great business idea into an executable plan.
Wicked Reports provided comprehensive documentation that described a comprehensive decision framework, including the rules, thresholds, and caveats behind its multi-touch attribution recommendation and optimization methodology. DoiT's technical lead, working closely with Desgrosseilliers and Andy Nadler, Product Manager at Wicked Reports, ingested the framework and iterated quickly: sample data was reviewed through prompts, followed by internal review, and then real client feedback on which recommendations were realistic in practice and which needed refinement. A major hurdle was prompt engineering for reliability. Wicked Reports needed the model to produce strongly typed, correctly formatted JSON every time so product engineering could consume results without hand-holding.
Under the accelerator, DoiT implemented a secure, serverless-first pipeline on AWS, API orchestration with Amazon API Gateway, event processing with AWS Lambda, containerized workloads on Amazon ECS with AWS Fargate, observability in Amazon CloudWatch, permissions via AWS IAM, secret management in AWS Secrets Manager, and infrastructure as code in AWS CDK. The design respected Wicked Reports' data sensitivities, connected to existing sources, and created a safe environment for rapid iteration. "We didn't just glue a model onto our product," Desgrosseilliers says. "We created a real system."
The output of Wicked Reports' engagement wasn't just a lab demo; it's a productized feature with real-world revenue growth potential. Wicked Reports launched the AI capability as a paid add-on with a time-boxed free trial, and the company is now ramping marketing and adoption. The initiative has already transformed how the customer success team engages with Wicked Reports' customers, with plans to have CSMs run the analysis and send results proactively for retention. "We're giving customers a taste that proves the value," Nadler says. "The sales motion is built into the experience."
The roadmap expands from tactical media guidance to broader strategic analysis. Wicked Reports plans to extend the agent to executive-level summaries, creative diagnostics, and anomaly tracking, then empower customer success to deliver that intelligence in ways that drive retention and upsell. The company maintains an annual consulting relationship with DoiT and intends to keep iterating with the same people and cadence that made the first phase successful. "We're going to keep working with the team that shipped this," Desgrosseilliers says. "They understand the problem space and they move."
Explore how Cloud Intelligence™ helps teams improve visibility, governance, and unit economics across cloud environments.
Attribute™'s platform is truly unique. We now have crystal-clear visibility into our cloud spend at the workload and tenant level, and that insight has already led to actionable savings and powerful insights as we further scale our service.
Paul White, VP of Engineering, Shasta Cloud
We have worked with DoiT for many years, and there has been an increasing number of capabilities and features in DoiT Cloud Intelligence. We've embedded features such as Cloud Analytics and Reports in our own FinOps processes, it's become core to what we do.
Martin Lee, Director of Operations
DoiT gave us the confidence to move from experimentation to production. They helped us understand the right way to build AI for the real world.
Milad Rezazadeh, CTO
Attribute™'s cost grouping technology took our cost visibility and allocation to a whole new level. Now, our teams are fully accountable for their budgets, significantly improving our cloud efficiency and helping us minimize unnecessary costs.
Eli Zilbershtein, Head of DevOps, Hippo
You can't tag a customer in a multi-tenant environment. Attribute™ finally shows us what each customer costs and what's driving those costs.
Omri Cohen, Director of Engineering, Platform
Attribute™'s data is truly unmatched. No other solution on the market could deliver the precise customer cost and usage profiles we needed in such a complex infrastructure. Within weeks, the data from Attribute™ transformed our understanding of cost structures, influencing key strategic decisions in pricing, renegotiations, and market positioning.
Jonathan Langer, COO, Claroty
Attribute™ simplified tracking customer costs in our multi-tenant environments. Customer cost measurement is now clear and standardized, and finance gets the business context they need. Integration was quick and required no changes.
Kfir Lippmann, CFO, Salt Security
Attribute™ translates complex cloud bills into actionable, business-centric insights that empower our engineering teams to take true ownership of their costs.
Balamurugan Mohandossgandhi, Head of IT and Infrastructure, PropertyGuru
This has let us get a better idea of what our cost of goods sold really is. It's not every day you come across something that delivers value as quickly as yours did for us. I was seeing useful insights inside the POC, and we had only deployed it to a couple of real clusters.
Jason Moore, Principal DevOps Engineer, Accrete AI
Eliminating the need to tag thousands of resources has freed up my team and we've invested our efforts in enhancing our platform significantly.
Ziv Sivan, VP of Engineering
PerfectScale by DoiT has become an important part of how we optimize Kubernetes at scale at OneFootball. It gives our platform team the visibility, automation, resiliency insights, and confidence we need to balance cost efficiency with production readiness, especially as we prepare for major global football moments like the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Andrea Benfatto, Platform/Cloud Runtime Engineering Manager
Cloudflow's new RDS End of Life alerts have allowed us to be more proactive on keeping our database instances up-to-date. The new solution gives us internal visibility ahead of time so that we can prepare for upgrades, instead of having to upgrade under pressure while incurring extended support costs.
Jon Fairbanks, Site Reliability Engineering Manager
PerfectScale cut 40% off our total EKS spend, and the automations handle what used to take our team 20 hours a month. Now we spend that time on reliability and performance instead of chasing cost metrics.
Caio Cristo, Director of Infrastructure/SRE
