Anagog provides an Edge-AI-powered, on-device mobile engagement platform that enables privacy and personalization to coexist. The company helps mobile app developers in retail, digital banking, insurance, and other industries deliver personalized customer experiences while addressing increasing privacy concerns from Apple, Android, and consumers. Their platform empowers companies to strengthen user relationships and maximize mobile app potential.
The Challenge
Anagog faced unpredictable server workload capacity requirements as mobile apps with millions of users implemented their SDK. The R&D team couldn't predict compute specifications more than one year ahead, and they preferred focusing DevOps personnel on product development rather than managing compute commitments. This prevented them from purchasing Reserved Instances or Savings Plans.
The Solution
Anagog implemented DoiT Flexsave for Compute to automatically apply Savings Plan discounts without making purchases themselves. The solution eliminated the need to manage Savings Plans and automatically adjusted to new workloads as Anagog added customers or changed compute requirements. Implementation required only clicking a button with no configuration or environment adjustments needed.
