Scaling securely: How PlaxidityX optimizes AWS, Google Cloud & Azure with DoiT

Meet PlaxidityX

PlaxidityX, formerly Argus Cyber Security Ltd., is a global leader in mobility cybersecurity, specializing in DevSecOps, vehicle protection, and fleet security solutions for automotive and mobility manufacturers.

Its cutting-edge technologies safeguard vehicle components, networks, and fleets, ensuring security and compliance throughout their lifecycle. With a foundation built on decades of cybersecurity and automotive research, PlaxidityX has pioneered innovative solutions, earning over 70 granted and pending patents.

Founded in 2014, the company is headquartered in Israel and maintains a global presence across the United States, Germany, France, Japan, Korea, Poland, and India.

The Challenge

PlaxidityX is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions to protect vehicles, both inside and out, on a well-architected foundation that supports predictable scale. However, introducing new services into its offering presented a challenge, as the company primarily operated on Amazon EKS and needed new multicloud skills and guardrails. Expanding beyond this required a significant shift in infrastructure and expertise.

As a multicloud organization running on AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, PlaxidityX needed to ensure predictable unit economics while navigating this transition. Real-time, shared visibility into costs across platforms was essential, especially as PlaxidityX planned to integrate new services.

The Solution

PlaxidityX adopted a multi-SaaS platform architecture to support this evolution, leveraging key AWS services such as Amazon Cognito, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS).

DoiT was a key resource in PlaxidityX’s expansion into new regions, including China, providing regulatory guidance and implementation guardrails for a complex cloud setup. DoiT’s expertise ensured a smooth, compliant expansion, helping PlaxidityX confidently navigate regulatory requirements.

On the cost optimization front, PlaxidityX utilized DoiT’s Real-Time Anomaly Detection to monitor cloud spend in real time. This AI-powered system proactively identified unexpected cost spikes and sent severity-based alerts to Slack, allowing key stakeholders, including Liran, to take immediate action. By addressing anomalies before they escalated, PlaxidityX avoided significant unnecessary expenses.

Furthermore, DoiT Cloud Intelligence™ provided a single, shared view of costs across departments, ensuring that engineers, the VP of R&D, and finance had clear, actionable insights. This transparency helped align technical and financial teams, fostering better budgeting and decision-making.

The Results

Significant cost savings – By leveraging Real-Time Anomaly Detection, PlaxidityX saved thousands of dollars by preventing waste before month-end surprises.

Enhanced financial transparency – With DoiT Cloud Intelligence™, finance and R&D teams gained real-time visibility into cloud costs, improving forecast accuracy and accountability.

Seamless multicloud expansion – DoiT’s expertise enabled a smooth expansion into China, maintaining security and performance under clear compliance guardrails.

Optimized cloud operations – The shift to a modular, multi-SaaS architecture positioned PlaxidityX for future growth, leveraging AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure with SLO-aware efficiency.
