CoverManager is on a mission to relieve restaurant and nightlife managers from the chaos and overwhelm of reservation and booking management. Its platform provides customers with centralized control and data tracking, giving them confidence and control in an unpredictable industry. CoverManager's platform provides comprehensive oversight over reservations and bookings, customer loyalty programs, waitlists, and customer behavior data. Users rely on CoverManager to reduce no-shows, improve occupancy rates, and gain more information to support a better customer experience. Since first launching in 2015, CoverManager now manages over 22 million reservations a month for over 17,000 establishments globally, including over 409 Michelin-starred restaurants. More impressively, CoverManager has achieved all this success as a bootstrapped startup without any significant venture or angel investment capital.
The Challenge
CoverManager needed to scale infrastructure to keep up with rapid growth while delivering consistent low-latency performance during peak loads. They lacked internal expertise in cloud security and data management, and needed to develop a solid foundation for international expansion without risking reliability, latency, or data security.
The Solution
DoiT partnered with CoverManager to transition to a microservices architecture and implement DoiT Cloud Intelligence for real-time visibility and automated efficiency. They leveraged Flexsave for Compute to optimize compute economics without reservations or savings plans, and established centralized dashboards for monitoring across multiple AWS accounts and regions.
