Introducing PartnerOps Channel Management: your pathway to AWS MSP
Getting into the AWS MSP Program is about to get harder. DoiT PartnerOps Channel Management is now available to give partners a smooth pathway to MSP.
By Josh Bonner
AWS MSP accreditation is worth real money: a 5% incentive on managed customer spend (up to $500K a year), deeper co-sell access, and credibility that wins deals. Earning it is another story. It's a multi-domain audit, and AWS provides exactly two things to help: a 61-control checklist and a calibration guide. Many eligible partners start, stall, and leave the incentive unclaimed.
It's about to get harder. AWS's latest checklist update changes 51 of the 61 controls, including 27 rewritten to add mandatory AI requirements, and only 10 carried forward unchanged. Annual renewals plus a full re-audit every 36 months mean even accredited MSPs have to keep proving compliance against requirements that didn't exist when they first certified.
DoiT PartnerOps was built by people who deeply understand and have been through the MSP audit themselves. It gives partners the operational system needed to achieve and maintain AWS MSP accreditation:
- Eligibility screening that flags deal-breakers before weeks of evidence collection are wasted
- Every control broken into assignable tasks with clear, named ownership
- AI-assisted evidence review against the same calibration guide AWS's auditors use, with specific gap explanations, not just pass or fail
- Full audit lifecycle tracking across submissions and checklist versions
- Continuous compliance monitoring after accreditation, so partners are ready at renewal instead of scrambling for it
What makes this different: other tools cover pieces, a cloud check here, a compliance scan there, and a consultant can get you through one cycle. Nothing else runs the full audit as a durable system: ownership, evidence validation, and readiness tracked through every renewal, and it doesn't walk out the door when the audit's done.
