OpenAI Integration Updates for Cloud Intelligence™

Over the past weeks we shipped several improvements to the OpenAI integration in Cloud Intelligence™.

These updates bring AI adoption and spending into the same workflows you already use to manage cloud costs. Your teams can:

• Understand how Codex and ChatGPT are being adopted across the organization
• Detect unexpected changes using existing reports, dashboards, and anomaly detection
• Choose an ingestion method that works with your OpenAI plan and level of automation

Native support for OpenAI Enterprise APIs

OpenAI Enterprise customers can now connect their workspace directly to Cloud Intelligence™. We support native data ingestion from three enterprise APIs:

• ChatGPT Enterprise Codex Analytics for Codex usage and adoption metrics
• ChatGPT Enterprise Costs for workspace usage and spending
• ChatGPT Enterprise Workspace Analytics for seat utilization and user activity

Once connected, this data appears alongside your cloud spend in dashboards, reports, and anomaly detection. You get one view of AI and cloud costs without manual exports.

Codex analytics without an Enterprise plan

Not on an OpenAI Enterprise plan? Or does your plan exclude API access? We built a DataHub template for you:

1. Download the usage CSV from the OpenAI Codex UI: Export leaderboard data > User leaderboard
2. Upload the CSV to DataHub using the schema template

Your Codex data then flows into the same reports and dashboards as native integrations.

Automate the manual steps

The CSV workflow sounds tedious? Two options remove the manual work:

• Scheduled automation. Use your favorite agent harness or automation tool to download the CSV from OpenAI, then use dci-cli to upload the data.
• Chrome extension (coming soon). We're building a DCI Chrome extension that handles the export and upload for you.
