New in Composer Insights: Access recipes and results via the public API
Query your Composer Insights data from scripts, agents, and workflow tools through the DoiT API and MCP Server.

Composer Insights generates cost optimization recommendations across your cloud accounts. If you've wanted to pull that data into your own scripts, AI agents, or workflow tools, you had to work around the console.
We shipped a public REST API for Composer Insights: direct, read-only access to recipes and results.
- Query recipes programmatically: List and retrieve your Composer Insights recipes, including category, difficulty level, and recommended actions, through standard REST endpoints.
- Fetch results with resolved resources: Pull detailed results for any recipe with resolved cloud provider resource identifiers (like ARNs), so your tooling can target specific resources without additional lookups.
- Use it from AI agents: The API is documented in the DoiT API reference and exposed as a tool in the DoiT MCP Server. Connect Claude or your own agents to query insights from automated, agent-driven workflows.
