New in Insights: Remediate infrastructure issues with Terraform GitHub PRs (early access)
Go from insight to infrastructure fix without leaving the console.

Spotting a cloud infrastructure issue is a starting point. Acting on it usually means finding if and where your resource is defined as code, writing the Terraform change, and opening a pull request. That loop adds friction and delay, especially when the fix is well-understood.
Insights now connects to the Terraform IaC PR Agent (early access), so you can open a remediation pull request directly from a finding.
- Resource selection: Choose which flagged resources to include in the remediation run before the agent starts work.
- Create the PR: Trigger the agent from any supported insight. It generates a Terraform pull request on GitHub that addresses the finding, usually within a few minutes.
- Status tracking: Monitor active and completed remediation runs on the insight details page, with real-time status as the pull request moves through your GitHub workflow.
- Review the fix: Keep your CloudOps teams in the loop and let them review the fixes using their own review processes, tools, and agents.
The goal here is both to provide a tighter loop between FinOps teams' "we found something" and CloudOps teams' "it's in review", while reducing CloudOps teams' repetitive implementation work across many cloud resources and repositories.
To get started, open Insights and look for the "Remediate with Terraform" option on any supported insight.
*Available to customers with the Terraform IaC PR Agent early access feature enabled.
