See how your FinOps practice compares with companies like yours

Benchmarks scores your FinOps maturity every month against anonymized companies with similar spend and industry, metric by metric, so you know where you lead and what to fix next.

"Are we doing well?" is the question every FinOps team gets from leadership, and the hardest one to answer. Your waste number, your commitment coverage and your budget discipline only mean something next to what similar companies achieve, and that comparison usually comes from a conference slide or a vendor survey, not from data.

DoiT helps to improve the FinOps practice of thousands of customers. Benchmarks turns that into a monthly comparison: Cloud Intelligence™ measures six metrics for your account, places you in a peer group of customers with similar monthly cloud spend and industry, and shows where you stand on each one.

What you get

One maturity score. A score from 0 to 100 places you in the Crawl, Walk or Run stage, with a histogram of your peer group's scores and the share of peers you are ahead of.

Six metrics, each with your standing. Cost efficiency covers preventable waste, effective savings rate and commitment coverage. Practice adoption covers budget coverage, anomaly response time and tagging and allocation coverage. Each row shows your value, the peer median, the 25th to 75th percentile range and your percentile, so you can see which metric pulls your score down.

Measured from data you already have. Waste comes from your insights, coverage from your AWS and Google Cloud commitments (Flexsave, PerfectScale for Commitments, Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, committed use discounts and BigQuery editions), budget coverage from your active budgets, and response time from how fast you acknowledge cost anomalies. Unacknowledged anomalies count as seven days, so ignoring them shows.

Any peer group you want. The page opens on your own peer group. Switch spend tier or industry to see how you compare with a wider group or the next tier up, and toggle between the peer median and the top quartile as the bar to beat.

Private by design. Every peer group has at least 10 customers, and only percentiles and counts are ever shown. No customer name or individual value is visible to anyone else.

Benchmarks refresh on the 2nd of every month for the month that just ended.
