Know what Scaleway is costing you today, not when next month's invoice arrives
Connect a Scaleway organization to Cloud Intelligence™ and its spend shows up daily in the reports, allocations, budgets, and allocations alerts you already run for AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
More European companies are putting workloads on Scaleway, and usually for the same reason: it is European-owned and runs under European jurisdiction, so data and AI workloads stay out of reach of the US Cloud Act, and there is GPU capacity on the continent to go with it. Then the first bill arrives and FinOps discovers what Scaleway's billing looks like.
Scaleway tells you one number: how much the organization has spent so far this month, in euros, refreshed about every half hour. It never tells you what Tuesday cost. The invoice arrives after the month is closed, and until then Scaleway spend sits outside your reports entirely, or in a spreadsheet someone updates by hand. Cloud Intelligence™ now reads that running total every day, turns the change into a daily cost, converts it to dollars at the same monthly rate it uses for every other currency, and puts it in the same reports, allocations, and budgets as the rest of your cloud spend.
What you get
Daily Scaleway costs, per SKU, with region and zone broken out so you can see which of Scaleway's European regions the spend lands in.
Corrections that land where they belong. When Scaleway revises a line down, or a line disappears from the running total, the difference shows up as a negative correction on that day. True-ups stay inside their own month, so the month in Cloud Intelligence™ still reconciles to the invoice.
Dollars, with the euros kept. Conversion uses the same monthly rates Cloud Analytics applies to every other non-USD provider, and the native EUR amount stays available as a metric so you can check it against what Scaleway charged.
Vouchers as credits. Organization-level vouchers and discounts appear as credit rows rather than quietly shrinking the total, so you can see what you were given and what you actually paid.
A Scaleway organization is treated like an AWS account or a Google Cloud project: reports, allocations, budgets, and anomaly detection all cover it the same way.
Get started
- In Scaleway, create an IAM application with the BillingReadOnly policy and generate an API key for it. Scaleway connection guide
- In Cloud Intelligence™, open Data ingestion and integrations, select Assets, choose Scaleway, and enter your Organization ID and the secret key. The connection is validated and the first import starts. Connect third-party platforms
- Add the Scaleway organization to your allocations and budgets so showback and alerts cover it from the first day. Allocations, Budgets
