Onboard your entire AWS organization in minutes instead of linking accounts one by one.
If you manage more than a handful of AWS accounts, this new DCI update will dramatically improve your onboarding experience:
- StackSets onboarding: Deploy the Cloud Connect IAM role across all your AWS accounts in a single CloudFormation StackSet operation. StackSets is now the default path for account linking, whether you're a standalone or resold customer.
- Terraform provider: Use the new Cloud Connect Terraform API to manage AWS account linking as code. If your team already provisions infrastructure through Terraform, Cloud Connect fits right into your existing workflow.
- Simplified permissions: A reworked permission model consolidates read permissions into a single policy. You no longer need to enable features separately when we already have the required access.
- Clearer error reporting: When something goes wrong during onboarding, you get specific, actionable error messages instead of generic failures.
