Mit der globalen Expansion wuchs bei INFINOX die Komplexität durch Legacy-Lösungen in einer Multicloud-Umgebung. DoiT hat INFINOX dabei unterstützt, die zentrale Infrastruktur auf AWS neu aufzusetzen – mit EC2-Instanzen zu On-Demand-Preisen, Amazon RDS für die Datenbank-Skalierung und AWS WAF für die Sicherheit. Als INFINOX vom britischen Broker zu einer globalen Präsenz in 15 Ländern wuchs, nahm auch die Komplexität durch Legacy-Lösungen in der Multicloud-Umgebung zu. Das Unternehmen musste die Skalierung für eine globale Kundschaft mit spezifischen regionalen Anforderungen in Einklang bringen – und gleichzeitig in mehreren Jurisdiktionen höchste Standards für Datenschutz und Sicherheit einhalten.

Infrastruktur mit AWS und DoiT verschlanken

INFINOX beauftragte DoiT mit der Konsolidierung der Kerninfrastruktur auf AWS, nachdem das besonnene Vorgehen und die belastbaren Daten von DoiT überzeugt hatten. Die Lösung umfasste ein Redesign der zentralen Infrastruktur mit Amazon EC2-Instanzen zu On-Demand-Preisen für maximale Flexibilität, den Einsatz von Amazon RDS für eine einfache Datenbank-Skalierung über Regionen hinweg sowie Amazon WAF zum Schutz der Plattform. DoiT half außerdem dabei, im AWS Marketplace passende Drittanbieter-Services zu finden – darunter eine speziell auf die AWS-Integration zugeschnittene NGINX-Version.

Transparenz und Kostenoptimierung erreichen

Die Cloud Management Platform von DoiT verschaffte INFINOX beispiellose Transparenz über alle Services in der gesamten Infrastruktur. Die Plattform ermöglichte schnelle Kostenauswertungen, Reporting, das Erkennen von Anomalien sowie das Aufspüren ungenutzter Services. Flexsave for Compute lieferte sofortige Ergebnisse: 20 % Einsparung bei den Cloud-Compute-Kosten – mit minimalem Aufwand für das INFINOX-Team.

Fokus auf strategisches Wachstum

Da DoiT das Infrastrukturmanagement und die Abrechnung übernimmt, kann sich INFINOX nun voll auf Strategie und Wachstum konzentrieren.
