How do I install the DoiT app for Slack?
A Slack workspace admin signs in to the DoiT Console, opens Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations, selects Work management, finds the Slack card, and selects Manage. From there, choose Connect Workspace, sign in to Slack, and grant DoiT the requested permissions.
What permissions does DoiT request in Slack?
DoiT requests basic information about public channels (to suggest channels when scheduling notifications), basic information about private channels and group DMs (to detect missing permissions for shared charts), and people and email addresses in your workspace (to validate permissions before unfurling sensitive links).

Your Slack organization must be on a paid Slack plan to use Slack Connect. The DoiT app and the shared channel are independent and can be enabled separately.
How do I scope alerts to specific Slack channels or teams?
When you configure a notification or budget in the DoiT Console, you select the destination Slack channel. You can route different anomaly types, budgets, or reports to the channels owned by the teams responsible for each workload.
How do I reconnect or revoke the integration?
If the bot token expires or private-channel permissions are missing, use Reconnect workspace on the Slack integration card in the DoiT Console. To revoke access, remove the DoiT app from your Slack workspace from Slack's app management page.
Is the Slack integration available on every DoiT plan?
The DoiT app for Slack and the shared Slack channel are included with DoiT Cloud Intelligence. Ava in Slack requires Ava to be included in your DoiT plan and the most recent version of the app.
