DoiT begleitete ETC bei der Migration von On-Premises zu Google Cloud mit BigQuery, GKE und Cloud SQL – ohne Produktionsausfälle und mit selbstheilenden Deployments.
ETC musste die eigene On-Premises-IT-Infrastruktur modernisieren, um die enormen Mengen an Video- und Bilddaten von Autobahnen wirtschaftlich verwalten zu können. Die bestehende Umgebung bremste Datenmanagement und Analytics-Ziele aus, während das Unternehmen seine Dienste auf immer mehr US-Bundesstaaten ausweitete.
ETC migrierte gemeinsam mit DoiT zu Google Cloud und führte BigQuery, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL und Cloud Storage ein. DoiT lieferte fundierte Expertise zur IAM-Strategie, zur Kubernetes-Einführung und zu cloud-native Funktionen und beschleunigte so die Transformation.

DoiT brachte fundierte Expertise zu Identity- und Access-Management-Protokollen ein und unterstützte ETC bei der Einführung der Google Kubernetes Engine – mit dem Ergebnis, dass Mautsysteme deutlich schneller in Betrieb gehen.
ETC stellte sein Datenmanagement mit BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage und Cloud SQL neu auf. Die Migration verbesserte Verfügbarkeit, Uptime und Datenhaltung. Das Aufsetzen einer Umgebung, für das früher zehn Mitarbeitende drei bis vier Tage benötigten, gelingt heute mit GKE und Cloud Load Balancing in drei Tagen – mit nur zwei Mitarbeitenden.
ETC setzt auch weiterhin auf DoiT für Kostenoptimierung und technische Beratung. Aktuell evaluiert das Unternehmen Anthos für die Anwendungsmodernisierung sowie Cloud Run, Cloud Functions und IoT-Services. Das neue Framework verzahnt Infrastruktur-Teams und Entwickler enger und schafft Raum, die Cloud-Transformation noch größer zu denken.
