Tra le iniziative di maggiore impatto c'è stata un'insight review dedicata all'utilizzo dello storage SSD. L'infrastruttura di Extenda Retail si appoggiava in larga misura a SSD ad alte prestazioni, che pesavano in modo significativo sulla spesa cloud. Con filtri SSD personalizzati, il team ha analizzato i workloads sulla base del throughput reale e ha scoperto che molti servizi consumavano risorse SSD premium pur non avendone bisogno in termini di prestazioni. Ne è derivato un ribilanciamento strategico dei tier di storage che ha ridotto gli sprechi senza intaccare l'affidabilità del sistema.
DoiT ha affiancato Extenda Retail nelle prime fasi di esplorazione di un chatbot basato su AI, pensato per servire sia i clienti sia gli utenti finali. In sessioni architetturali dedicate, i team hanno analizzato design pattern, requisiti dei dati e servizi Google Cloud a supporto della soluzione. Una consulenza che ha aiutato a validare gli approcci tecnici e ad accelerare decisioni consapevoli sulle tecnologie AI emergenti.
Extenda Retail prevede di ampliare l'uso di Cloud Intelligence™ man mano che la piattaforma continua a crescere. Il team si sta preparando all'onboarding di DataHub non appena i dataset saranno pronti e segue con attenzione l'evoluzione di Cloud Diagrams, in particolare le funzionalità che offrono maggiore visibilità sui flussi di traffico e sulle interazioni tra sistemi.
