DoiT ha guidato Huq nella migrazione da AWS a Google Cloud, ricostruendo la pipeline su Dataflow e BigQuery per elaborare quasi un miliardo di record di geolocalizzazione al giorno.
I clienti di Huq richiedevano tempi di consegna sempre più rapidi e un accesso più frequente a dati ad alta frequenza. L'azienda doveva adattare la propria pipeline dati per rispondere alle richieste quasi in tempo reale, mantenendo la flessibilità necessaria a servire clienti con esigenze tecniche differenti.
DoiT ha aiutato Huq a migrare la pipeline di elaborazione dati da AWS a Google Cloud sfruttando Apache Beam e Google Dataflow. La soluzione prevede l'orchestrazione dei workflow con Cloud Composer, l'archiviazione dei dati su Cloud Storage e BigQuery e l'ottimizzazione dei costi tramite reOptimize CMP e superQuery IDE.

DoiT ha accompagnato Huq fino al completamento della migrazione su Google Cloud, realizzando una pipeline dati che acquisisce, elabora, analizza ed esporta rapidamente quasi un miliardo di record di geolocalizzazione al giorno. La soluzione utilizza Google Cloud Composer per l'orchestrazione dei workflow, Cloud Storage per il caricamento dei dati, Dataflow per l'arricchimento e BigQuery per l'accesso da parte dei clienti.
DoiT ha messo a disposizione reOptimize CMP per una visibilità più puntuale sull'utilizzo del cloud e sull'ottimizzazione dei costi. Huq ha inoltre avuto accesso a superQuery IDE, l'ambiente di sviluppo basato su AI per BigQuery che permette query più efficienti e risposte più flessibili ai clienti.
Con il supporto di DoiT, Huq ha dimezzato la spesa cloud mentre le esigenze in termini di dati quadruplicavano. Oggi l'azienda elabora 800 milioni di data point al giorno, rispetto ai 200 milioni di prima, con costi ridotti del 50%. Il nuovo stack può scalare l'elaborazione dei dati di 100 volte senza richiedere alcuna modifica.
