La sfida infrastrutturale

Come molte altre piattaforme e-commerce, una delle sfide principali per Phenix è mantenere sempre aggiornato l'inventario presente in app. Servono quindi funzionalità di database evolute, per le quali Phenix si affida principalmente ad AWS Relational Database Service (RDS). Costruire l'applicazione e scalarla per reggere la domanda attuale è stato impegnativo per un team DevOps così snello, soprattutto quando si trattava di cogliere le opportunità di sconto offerte da AWS.
