Gestire Reserved Instances o Savings Plans avrebbe sottratto energie allo sviluppo e alla scalabilità della piattaforma. Una sfida destinata a peggiorare con l'espansione in nuovi Paesi, tra più tempo speso nella gestione dell'infrastruttura e il rischio di penali per sottoutilizzo.

Costruire l'applicazione e scalarla per reggere la domanda attuale è stato impegnativo per un team DevOps così snello, soprattutto quando si trattava di cogliere le opportunità di sconto offerte da AWS.
Gestire a tempo pieno Reserved Instances o Savings Plans avrebbe sottratto risorse al lavoro di engineering e operativo, costringendo il team a scegliere tra risparmiare e far crescere davvero prodotto e business.
