How do I connect Microsoft Teams to DoiT?
In the DoiT Console, go to Data ingestion and integrations > Integrations, open the Microsoft Teams card, and select Manage or Connect. Use the link provided to open the DoiT app in Microsoft Teams, add it to the team you want to notify, then return to the console and approve the connection.
How do I add more channels to a team that's already connected?
From the Microsoft Teams integration card in the DoiT Console, select Manage, then Connect channel. In Microsoft Teams, right-click the channel (or use the kebab menu) and choose Copy link, paste it into the console, and select Add channel.
What kinds of notifications does DoiT send to Microsoft Teams?
The DoiT app for Microsoft Teams delivers notifications such as new invoices, cost anomalies, and other operational alerts from the DoiT Console into your selected channels.
Are private and shared channels supported?
No. The DoiT app for Microsoft Teams supports standard channels only. If you try to connect a private or shared channel, the connection is rejected with an error message.
What permissions are required to set up the integration?
You need the Manage settings permission in DoiT to connect a team and to connect additional channels. In Microsoft Teams, you need the ability to add an app to the team you're targeting.
Can I connect more than one team?
Yes. Repeat the connection steps for each team you want to send notifications to, and connect as many channels as you need within each team.
How do I know the connection worked?
After you add the DoiT app to a team and select your channel, you'll receive a confirmation message in that channel. You then return to the DoiT Console and select Complete setup to approve the connection.
Is the Microsoft Teams integration available on every plan?
Workflow integrations, including Microsoft Teams, are part of DoiT Cloud Intelligence. There is no per-channel or per-seat surcharge for routing notifications into Teams.
