DoiT and Google Join Forces to Advance Generative AI Development

Generative artificial intelligence (AI) is changing both organizations’ and society's perception of the impact that AI technologies can have on daily life, as well as how businesses operate. Research from KPMG reveals that 65% of U.S. executives at companies with at least $1 billion in revenue anticipate generative AI to have a “high or extremely high impact” on their organization in the next three to five years. However, 60% feel they are at least a year (or two) away from deploying their first generative AI solution.

Today, DoiT International and Google Cloud are proud to announce the companies will strengthen their collaboration to help organizations develop generative AI solutions with Google Cloud. DoiT will accelerate companies’ AI journeys by conducting informative workshops to enable enterprise users to learn and better understand what is possible as they pursue projects leveraging Google Cloud’s GenAI and Large Language Models (LLM) capabilities.

While generative AI technology has become a mainstay in recent headlines and companies are eager to integrate the promises of solutions into production, they also admit to being behind the curve. Less than half of those surveyed by KPMG feel their organization possesses the necessary technology, talent and oversight to successfully deploy generative AI projects, feeling they need at least six to 12 months to better understand how the technology works, evaluate what they can accomplish with existing resources and plan for the investments required to execute.

"Helping organizations leverage advanced technologies to achieve better business outcomes in the most efficient and cost-effective manner is the foundation on which our own business is built,” said Jaret Chiles, Chief Services Officer at DoiT. “The potential applications and promise for generative AI tools is very exciting, and DoiT is eager to partner with Google Cloud to ensure that our joint customers are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to execute successful AI projects.”

DoiT’s GenAI workshops will be available to any Google Cloud customers interested in building out their generative AI portfolio. Attendees will gain:

  • An introduction to Generative AI and GenAI on Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI
  • An understanding of Google Cloud’s GenAI offerings, including Bard, MakerSuite, Vertex AI, and the use cases to which each are best suited in a variety of industries: retail, finance, insurance, manufacturing, and more
  • How DoiT can guide companies through the process of building a GenAI use case, including the collection and processing of data, training and fine-tuning models, implementing a proof of concept and deploying into production
  • How to evaluate and prioritize potential use cases for generative AI

“We are happy to strengthen our partnership with DoiT to accelerate the generative AI capabilities of customers,” said Jim Anderson, Vice President, NA Partners Ecosystem & Channels at Google Cloud. “This expanded partnership will benefit industries as they develop and execute new AI initiatives.”

Google Cloud customers can register for our upcoming workshop, "DoiT All with Generative AI: Supercharge Your Success on Google Cloud," on July 27. For more information on how to engage the DoiT team and workshop offerings, please contact us here.
