DoiT Cloud Intelligence™ became a core part of Current’s infrastructure optimization strategy. The platform’s ability to break down cloud costs by customizable dimensions through allocations enabled the team to allocate spend directly to the business logic of its workloads. For example, the same job running in two different regions could incur dramatically different costs, and DoiT’s multidimensional analysis allowed Current to identify and act on those differences with precision.

One of the most valuable features currently adopted is DoiT Anomaly Detection. Introduced early in its journey, the Anomaly Detection feature quickly became part of Current’s daily workflow. By integrating alerts into Slack, the infrastructure team received immediate notifications whenever unusual spend patterns emerged, often due to misconfigurations or unexpected behavior. The alerts transformed cost management from reactive to proactive, enabling the team to resolve issues in real time rather than after-the-fact analysis.

“Since its launch, we have been using cost anomaly regularly. It is a very easy workflow. We get alerted on any anomalies and changes, and often, that can kick off an incident. That proactive communication keeps us from having to do the retroactive investigation.” shares Trevor.

Equally impactful was the human side of the partnership.
