  • The google meet call format was great to get this resolved. Houssem really focussed on seeing it through end-to-end and trying everything. He was honest and helpful. Ultimately we found a workaround to our cloud sql instance being stuck and not allowing any configuration changes, something that usually requires proper paid (at least $1k for us) google support. The fix was to switch the instance to be single-zone, do the config change and then switch it back to high availability.
